Jesse Lingard scores first goal of David Moyes era

The first goal of David Moyes's spell in charge of Manchester United has been scored by youngster Jesse Lingard.

Having failed to find the net during the opening pre-season friendly in Thailand last week, the English champions took just 11 minutes to break the deadlock against the A-League All Stars in Australia this afternoon.

Ryan Giggs's pass was dummied by Danny Welbeck and collected by 20-year-old Lingard, who in turn slotted the ball into the corner of the net.
