Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists that his side have what it takes to pull off a victory over in-form Manchester United.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that his side have what it takes to make the most of a "big opportunity" when they welcome Manchester United to Anfield tomorrow lunchtime.

The Reds endured a frustrating September as they picked up just one win in six attempts across all competitions, then drew at Newcastle United as they went into the international break.

Jose Mourinho's side, meanwhile, won six of their seven games in the same period and will travel to Anfield seven points ahead of Klopp's charges in the Premier League table.

"We will try all we have to win, it's a big, big, big, big opportunity," Klopp told reporters this afternoon. "We are in a really good moment, not results-wise but performances.

"[Our] performances are not as bad as people think. We are not so weak we don't have a chance against Manchester United.

"[There are] no excuses. We have to try everything. How I see it is two really good football teams against each other."

The Reds have failed to win in their last six Premier League encounters with United.
