Carl Jenkinson eyes win over Manchester United

Carl Jenkinson backs West Ham to provide tough opposition for Manchester United when they meet in the Premier League.

West Ham United defender Carl Jenkinson has backed his team to beat Manchester United ahead of Saturday's clash at Upton Park.

The Hammers will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend after claiming just one victory in their last six Premier League matches.

While he admits that the Red Devils are sure to provide dangerous opposition, Jenkinson is confident that West Ham can record a positive result.

"We have a massive game again on Saturday. Man Utd are coming into a bit of form and they have some great players but we're a very strong side at home," he told the club's official website. "It should be a great game and one we're looking to come out on top of."

Jenkinson missed West Ham's 2-0 defeat at Liverpool last Saturday with a calf strain.
