Rio Ferdinand: "Paris Saint-Germain are not playing games"

Rio Ferdinand has been impressed with the recent signings that Paris Saint-Germain have made.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have acquired the services of Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli, while AC Milan duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva are expected to follow shortly.

Such additions have left Manchester United defender Ferdinand in no doubt regarding PSG's intentions for the new campaign.

"By the way PSG are not playing games, Ibra, Thiago Silva + Lavezzi all acquired recently! Going for it they are," he wrote on Twitter.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric is also said to be a target for Les Parisiens.
