Michael Carrick insists that Manchester United will not relax against Arsenal this weekend, despite already winning the Premier League title.

Michael Carrick has insisted that Manchester United will do their best against Arsenal this weekend, despite already winning the Premier League title.

The Red Devils, who travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, were crowned champions at the start of the week with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

"We'll approach it the same as always because our pride dictates that we want to win the game," Carrick told the club's official website.

"We've won the league but we won't go there and relax; we want to put on a good performance and try to play as if the title depended on it – that's how we'll approach it."

United recorded a 2-1 win over the Gunners when the sides met at Old Trafford back in November.
