Daley Blind "looking forward" to linking up with Robin van Persie

Daley Blind has revealed that he is "looking forward" to linking up with Robin van Persie at Manchester United.

The Dutch pair both impressed at this summer's World Cup and are now club teammates after Blind completed his move to Old Trafford from Ajax on transfer deadline day.

"Robin is a great person and he really helped me at the World Cup. I'm looking forward to working with him again," he told MUTV.

Blind made 146 appearances during a six-year career with Ajax.
