Rashford 'putting surgery on hold until after Euros'

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford reportedly plans to to play with a shoulder injury until after Euro 2020.

The long-standing issue is one of concern for United with Rashford having already made 42 appearances this season, highlighting his importance to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

However, while the England international has been able to avoid any lengthy period on the sidelines, there is an acknowledgement that he may eventually require surgery on the injury.

According to The Telegraph, the 23-year-old is keen to feature in United's remaining games and represent the Three Lions at Euro 2020 before undergoing an operation.

The report claims that some of Rashford's recent outings have been hindered by the injury, including his ability to fend off defenders.

Rashford has started all but three of United's games in the top flight and Champions League this season.
