Man United injury, suspension list vs. Sheffield United

Manchester United will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they head to Sheffield United on Saturday night.

The Red Devils secured a late victory over Brentford before the international break, with Scott McTominay scoring twice in second-half stoppage time to secure all three points at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag's side have won four and lost four of their eight league matches this season, with a total of 12 points leaving them down in 10th position in the table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Sheffield United, who are bottom of the division on just a single point.

Casemiro

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: October 29 (vs. Manchester City)

Casemiro has been ruled out of this weekend's match due to an ankle injury that he picked up while representing Brazil during the international break.

Sofyan Amrabat

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Unknown Possible return date: October 21 (vs. Sheffield United)

Amrabat has emerged as a doubt for the clash with Sheffield United due to an unspecified injury which led to him withdrawing from the Morocco squad, but he was able to train with the Red Devils on Thursday.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw suffered a muscular problem in the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season, and the England international is not expected to be back on the field until the middle of November.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia is also still on the sidelines, allegedly due to a knee injury which required an operation, with the Netherlands international not expected to return before December.

Lisandro Martinez

Status: Out Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: Unknown

Martinez has undergone a second operation on a foot injury which he initially suffered in April, and he will therefore be out for the next two to three months.

Amad Diallo

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Amad is still unavailable for selection due to a knee injury that he picked up during pre-season, with the Ivory Coast international likely to be missing for another six weeks or so.

Kobbie Mainoo

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Mainoo has been out due to an ankle problem that he suffered during pre-season, but he has recently returned to training and is now not too far away from making a return.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: Unknown

Wan-Bissaka is another defender currently on the sidelines with a muscular problem, and the right-back is expected to be missing until November.

Sergio Reguilon

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: October 21 (vs. Sheffield United)

Reguilon has missed Man United's last four matches due to a hamstring issue, but there is a chance that he could be back in the squad for this contest.

Raphael Varane

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Knock Possible return date: October 21 (vs. Sheffield United)

Varane was absent against Brentford before the international break due to a knock, but he is expected to be available for selection against Sheffield United.

MANCHESTER UNITED SUSPENSION LIST

Jadon Sancho is still training away from the first team due to his high-profile falling-out with Ten Hag, so the attacker will again not be involved for the Red Devils here.
