Wayne Rooney a doubt for Liverpool clash

Manchester United are reportedly worried that Wayne Rooney will not be fit to face Liverpool in their fourth-round FA Cup clash at Anfield tomorrow.

The striker has not trained all week after suffering an ankle injury last weekend, according to The Sun.

It is hoped that Rooney will train today and avert a major injury crisis for United, who are already without nine players.

United and Liverpool drew 1-1 when they last met in October.
