Jose Mourinho still unsure on Romelu Lukaku fitness ahead of FA Cup final

Jose Mourinho is unwilling to state whether Romelu Lukaku will be fit enough to play a part in Manchester United's FA Cup final clash against former club Chelsea.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that a late decision will be made on whether to start Romelu Lukaku in Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea.

The 25-year-old has missed the Red Devils' last three matches due to an ankle injury sustained against Arsenal on April 29.

Lukaku returned to first-team training on Tuesday and has managed to get a few sessions under his belt, but Mourinho is still unsure whether the Belgium international - with 26 goals to his name this term - can be risked against his former club.

"We have to wait until the last moment," he told reporters at Friday's pre-match press conference. "I don't want to lie to you and say he doesn't play and then he plays, or vice versa - so we have to wait."

Mourinho revealed that Anthony Martial is part of his plans, however, having been omitted from the squad to face Watford last weekend with a minor niggle.
