Patrice Evra expresses his unhappiness following Manchester United's exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Chelsea.

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has described his side's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup yesterday afternoon as a "massive disappointment".

The French international has won every trophy that English football has to offer except the FA Cup, which United have not lifted since they beat Millwall 3-0 back in 2004.

"It's a massive disappointment for us," United's official website quotes Evra as saying.

"We didn't expect to lose and we really wanted to win the double. A lot of players, including myself, haven't won the FA Cup and it was an important trophy for us."

Only Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher and Paul Scholes of the current United squad have won the FA Cup with the club.
