Manchester United's Phil Jones is hoping that he can force his way into the England squad for Euro 2012 this summer.
However, should the defender fail to make himself part of Roy Hodgson's plans, then has revealed that he would be more than happy to take a place in Team GB at the Olympics.
"There are two massive competitions coming up at the end of the season, hopefully I can be part of one of them," the 20-year-old told reporters.
Jones, who made his England debut last year, has made four appearances for the Three Lions.
Hodgson will name his squad for the Euros next Wednesday.
