Fernandes 'demanded Solskjaer change tactics against Atalanta'

Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes reportedly demanded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer change tactics at half time against Atalanta BC in the Champions League.

Following early strikes from Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral, Man United were staring down the barrel of another Champions League defeat as they went into the break 2-0 down.

However, Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo completed a magnificent turnaround at Old Trafford, which was supposedly in no small part to Fernandes.

According to The Sun, Fernandes instructed Solskjaer to alter his gameplan for the second period, allowing him to drop deeper in order to receive the ball to feet more often.

The report adds that Ronaldo shouted: "Are you not ashamed?!" to his teammates during the interval, while Solskjaer was trying to act as the peacemaker as feuds ensued.

Man United now prepare for the visit of Liverpool on Sunday aiming to improve on a dismal record of one point gleaned from their last three Premier League games.
