Patrick Roberts unsure on Manchester City future

Manchester City midfielder Patrick Roberts suggests that he is unsure over the next step of his career after nearing the end of his loan spell at Celtic.

Patrick Roberts has suggested that he does not know whether he will still be at Manchester City next season.

Roberts has spent the last two-and-a-half years on loan at Celtic, scoring 18 goals in 79 appearances for the Scottish giants.

However, the 21-year-old is expected back at the Etihad Stadium this summer, and the Englishman has indicated that it is yet to be determined where he will play his football during the following campaign.

Roberts is quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying: "I have aims in my head that I can climb Mount Everest but I don't know if I'm going to do it or not.

"Hopefully my career will pan out the way I want it to, but I just enjoy playing football. Wherever I play I just enjoy it. It doesn't faze me. In the summer I'll go back and see what happens."

Roberts currently has just over two years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
