Real Madrid are reportedly targeting Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany for a potential move next summer.

Jose Mourinho is lining up a £20m bid for the City skipper as he searches for a long-term replacement for Ricardo Carvalho, according to The Sun.

Serie A giants Milan are also thought to be interested in the 25-year-old, who was sent off during City's 3-1 victory over Wolves on Sunday.
