Real Madrid 'reach Brahim Diaz agreement'

Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brahim Diaz.

Diaz has been heavily linked with a move to the European champions throughout the season, having become frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities at the Etihad Stadium.

The 19-year-old's contract at City expires in the summer, but Marca reports that Madrid will pay €15m (£13.6m) to secure his signature in January.

Extra costs to the transfer fee are understood to have delayed the move so far, but Diaz could now put pen to paper on a six-year deal as early as next week.

The Spaniard has made only four appearances for City across all competitions this season, with three of those coming in the EFL Cup and the other in the Community Shield.
