Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos says that "it would be easier" for his side to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland over Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has claimed that "it would be easier" for his side to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland over Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos continue to be linked with both players ahead of this summer's transfer window, although it remains to be seen whether the club have the finances required to complete a move in the upcoming market.

Haaland will have a release clause in his contract next summer, while PSG could be forced into selling Mbappe ahead of the 2021-22 campaign if he does not sign a new deal.

Ramos is keen for the Spanish champions to sign both players but believes that a deal for Haaland would be more straightforward.

"I would like them both to come, but if one of them were to come, it would be easier to sign Haaland," Ramos told celebrity streamer Ibai Llanos on Twitch.

"With Mbappe the economic circumstances are more difficult. Haaland wouldn't be bad because of his hunger for goals, his size, his speed. It would be easier to reach an agreement for Haaland."

Manchester City are allegedly now the favourites to sign the Dortmund forward.
