Manchester City have signed Romanian goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon from Poli Timisoara for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old's deal is subject to a work permit and a medical.
The Romanian international played against City in last season's Europa League play-off.
The Blues have signed the keeper as cover for England international Joe Hart, after selling Shay Given to Aston Villa in July.
