Bernardo Silva refuses to rule out a summer move away from Manchester City, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be interested in his signature.

Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva has refused to rule out leaving the Etihad Stadium during this summer's transfer window.

The 28-year-old has again been a vital player for the Citizens during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 52 occasions in all competitions, scoring seven goals and registering seven assists in the process.

Bernardo starred against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night, scoring twice in a 4-0 win for Man City, which took them into the final of the competition courtesy of a 5-1 aggregate success.

The Portugal international is also bidding to help Pep Guardiola's side win the Premier League and FA Cup this season, with the final of the domestic cup taking place on June 3 against Manchester United.

The speculation surrounding the playmaker's future continues to gather pace, though, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain both heavily linked with his services.

Speaking after the semi-final success over Real Madrid, Bernardo said that he would "see what happens" when it comes to the summer transfer window.

"My plan is to complete well the season, win the Premier League and then the two finals. Then, this summer we will see what happens," Bernardo told RMC Sport on Wednesday night.

Barcelona were heavily linked with Bernardo last summer and are expected to reignite their interest this summer, while PSG are believed to want the Portuguese in a window when they could lose both Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Bernardo has another two years left to run on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but he has said on more than one occasion that he would be open to leaving the club in the near future.

Earlier this year, the attacker revealed that he would consider a "new project" this summer and was also keen to return to boyhood club Benfica before the end of his career.

Bernardo is believed to be looking to leave Man City for personal reasons, as he wants to be closer to his family in Portugal during this stage of his career.

The attacker made the move to the Etihad Stadium from Monaco in July 2017, and he has represented the English giants on 303 occasions, scoring 55 goals and contributing 58 assists in the process.

Bernardo has won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four EFL Cup trophies during his time in Manchester, and as mentioned, he is bidding to lift another three trophies this season.

Guardiola's side will take on Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford in their final three league games of the campaign, and they are currently top of the table, four points clear of second-placed Arsenal with a game in hand.
