Manchester City prepare Gerard Pique offer?

Manchester City are reportedly lining up a bid for Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

City are keen on the Spain international, who left Manchester United for Barca in 2008, and are exploring the possibility of signing the centre-back.

According to RMC, a bid from the wealthy Premier League side is imminent, although it is not known if an offer will arrive in January or the summer transfer window.

Pique's Barcelona contract expires in 2015.
