Manchester City open to offers for Maicon?

Manchester City are reportedly willing to let defender Maicon leave the club just one season after moving to the Etihad Stadium.

The 31-year-old made just 11 appearances for the former Premier League champions last season due to a number of injuries.

It is understood that City are prepared to listen to offers for the right-back as they are keen to keep hold of Micah Richards, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Roma have been linked with a move for Maicon, who cost City £3m from Inter Milan last summer.
