Riyad Mahrez's proposed move to Manchester City is allegedly at risk of falling through due to the player's transfer demands.

The Algeria international has requested a percentage of the transfer fee the Foxes are due to receive, according to The Sun.

Mahrez is a long-term City target, and the latest reports suggest that he could finally move to the Etihad Stadium this summer in a deal worth £75m.

However, Leicester are said to be reluctant to hand over a portion of the payment they receive for the winger and are considering slamming the brakes on the agreement.

The Foxes have reportedly lined up Basel star Mohamed Elyounoussi as a potential replacement for Mahrez.
