Gabriel Jesus says that he expects both himself and Sergio Aguero to remain at Manchester City this summer.

Gabriel Jesus has suggested that he expects to remain at Manchester City this summer, despite acting as backup to Sergio Aguero.

Pep Guardiola preferred to use the Argentine during the most recent campaign, restricting Jesus to to just 12 starts in the Premier League and Champions League.

There has been speculation regarding the future of the attacking trio - especially Jesus - although the Brazilian sees both himself and his strike partner staying at the Etihad Stadium.

The 22-year-old told the Daily Mail: "I think it's out of the question that Aguero leaves and me too.

"Aguero is a legend at the club - he's the top scorer. Obviously as a player I always want to play, but I'm happy to help and I respect Sergio."

Jesus still has four years remaining on his contract with the top-flight champions.
