A report claims that the futures of seven Manchester City players are in doubt as Pep Guardiola is planning a mass clearout in the summer.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly planning a clearout at Manchester City ahead of next season which could see as many as seven first-team players leave.

Back-to-back Premier League winners City are a whopping 22 points adrift of leaders Liverpool with a game in hand to play.

The Citizens offloaded Angelino to RB Leipzig in the January window and, according to The Mirror, the futures of many others remain in doubt ahead of the summer.

Angelino's switch can be made permanent in six months' time, while John Stones, Benjamin Mendy, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Joao Cancelo and Nicolas Otamendi could all make way, it is claimed.

Long-serving midfielder David Silva and back-up goalkeeper Claudio Bravo are also expected to move on when their contract expire.

The report indicates that five new players are being eyed up by Guardiola for the 2020-21 season.
