Angelino suggests that Manchester City's two-year ban from European competitions could see him seek to leave the club permanently in the summer.

Angelino has reportedly suggested that Manchester City's two-year ban from European competitions could see him seek to leave the club permanently in the summer.

The left-back is currently on loan with German side RB Leipzig and has impressed in Julian Nagelsmann's title challenging side.

Leipzig have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer for a reported €30m (£26m) transfer fee.

Speaking to SportBild, Angelino has suggested that the prospect of going two seasons without Champions League football will be a deciding factor when it comes to assessing his future in the summer.

"I feel very comfortable in Leipzig. I have to focus on RB," he said.

"Of course [the ban will affect my future], this hits every club and every player hard."

City have registered an appeal against the ruling with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
