Sergio Aguero edges closer to a move to Manchester City while Carlos Tevez remains in limbo.

Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has landed in England ahead of a proposed move to Manchester City.

The 23-year-old will undergo a medical and agree terms with the North West club before making the switch to Eastlands for a fee reportedly in the region of £40m.

Real Madrid was among an array of clubs vying for the Argentina international, who confirmed his intentions to leave Atletico this summer.

Meanwhile, the future of City forward Carlos Tevez remains in doubt after an initial move to Brazilian side Corinthians fell through earlier this month.
