Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has handed debuts to summer signings Fernandinho and Jesus Navas for their match against Newcastle United this evening.
The duo make up a midfield that also includes Yaya Toure and David Silva, while Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero are preferred to Alvaro Negredo up front.
Newcastle, meanwhile, are without Yohan Cabaye amid rumours that the Magpies turned down a £10m offer for the Frenchman earlier today.
Tim Krul returns to action for the visitors, making his first competitive appearance in four months after suffering an injury towards the end of last season.
