Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure believes that the "fantastic" Sergio Aguero is right up there with Lionel Messi among the world's finest players.
Aguero has found himself in red-hot form for City this season after scoring 12 goals in 14 games thus far - including four in last month's 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Toure, who played with Messi in a three-year spell at Barcelona, claims that featuring alongside the 26-year-old for the Sky Blues is just as exhilarating.
"I've been able to play with Messi but now I am able to play with Aguero," Toure told The Mirror. "Aguero is a fantastic striker.
"If I have to choose one of them it's quite difficult. Messi is one of the best in the world, definitely, but Aguero as well is strong, clever, he's fast.
"Both strikers are fantastic and I really enjoyed to play with Messi and now to play with Aguero I really enjoy it."
Aguero usurped Diego Costa at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts by finding the net in Sunday's 1-0 win over Manchester United.
