Carlos Tevez could be sacked by Manchester City after latest rule break

Carlos Tevez may have his contract terminated by Manchester City after flying to Argentina without permission.

Manchester City are reportedly considering terminating Carlos Tevez's contract after the latest in a string of infringements committed by the striker.

The Argentina international failed to report to training yesterday after jetting off to South America without permission.

Reports emerged that the 27-year-old could be fined for the second time in two months after he disobeyed orders.

The North West club have called on lawyers to look into the frontman's contract as they decide on what disciplinary action to carry out, according to The Express.

Tevez has lost the backing of PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor, who had previously forced City to halve the striker's original fine of four weeks' wages after refusing to warm up against Bayern Munich in September.
