David Silva nearing Manchester City return?

Manchester City midfielder David Silva is reportedly nearing a return to full fitness following a calf injury.

The Spanish international, 27, has missed his side's last four matches after suffering the problem a month ago against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

However, he has been in light training for the past fortnight as he looks to step up his recovery regime, according to Goal.com.

Silva is expected to return to the bench for his team's Champions League clash at home to Bayern Munich next week.

City are in Premier League action on Wednesday night when they travel to West Bromwich Albion.
