Sergio Aguero targets success during his first season with Manchester City.

New Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero believes that the club can win the Premier League in his first season.

The 23-year-old finalised a £35m transfer from Atletico Madrid on Thursday, signing a five-year contract. He has now revealed that it was the chance to win silverware that lured him to the club.

"I think [the City players] are great players and a great team. I think I am playing with one of the best English teams so I'm really happy. There are many things that can be achieved," he told a press conference at the Dublin Super Cup.

"We can win many titles and hopefully it will be a top year for us."

City manager Roberto Mancini earlier confirmed that Aguero would make his debut against Manchester United in the Community Shield on Sunday, August 7.
