Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has claimed that the team have "seven finals" between now and the end of the season following their defeat to Crystal Palace.
The reigning Premier League champions suffered a damaging blow to their title defence on Monday as they were beaten 2-1 at Selhurst Park.
City head into Sunday's derby away to Manchester United in fourth place in the table, nine points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
"It's going to be seven finals from now until the end of the season," Sagna told Sky Sports News. "It is disappointing not to take any points [from the game] because we had the chances to score. We created some good chances and unfortunately we conceded some goals."
Sagna and his City teammates have lost their last three away games in the league.
