Pep Guardiola "very happy" at Bayern Munich despite Stefan Effenberg comments

Pep Guardiola moves to dismiss claims by Stefan Effenberg that he will leave Bayern Munich ahead of Saturday's German Supercup clash with Wolfsburg.

Pep Guardiola has dismissed claims that he will leave Bayern Munich next year.

The 44-year-old comes to the end of his contract at the Bundesliga champions in June 2016, and former Bayern midfielder Stefan Effenberg has suggested that the Spaniard will not renew the deal.

The Spaniard has been widely linked with a move to Manchester City next season, but Guardiola insists that he is happy in Germany.

At a press conference, Guardiola said: "This is the first and the last time that I will talk about it. I am coach of Bayern.

"I am grateful to be here. I have not yet decided what the best thing for the club is, but I am doing my best and I will do my best.

"I've not received an offer from any other club in the world. I'm very happy here."

Bayern will face Wolfsburg in the German Supercup on Saturday.
