Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic admits that he is very happy with how his first season has gone in the Premier League.

Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic has admitted that his first season in the Premier League has gone better than expected.

The 20-year-old Serbian has started 30 games in all competitions for the Blues following his arrival from Fiorentina last summer.

"To be honest, it has been perfect for me," Nastasic is quoted as saying by Football365.

"Obviously, I was expecting at least six months [to make an impact] and be feeling the moment, but I am happy that I have already arrived at this level."

Nastasic is contracted to the former Premier League champions until June 2017.
