Manchester City top the list for the most money spent on agents in the Premier League last season.

Manchester City were the highest spenders on agents in the Premier League last year.

The league leaders shelled out £9.7m on fees during last season.

The news comes after the club recently announced record English league losses of £197m.

Tottenham Hotspur are second on the list with £7.6m, while Liverpool spent £7m.

Only Fulham, Swansea City, Norwich City and Wigan Athletic spent under £1m on agents.

The combined sum of £71.8m is the highest recorded since the Premier League decided to publish club-by-club figures in 2008.
