Felix Magath intends to attack Manchester City

Fulham manager Felix Magath believes that his side have the ability to hurt Manchester City on Saturday.

Fulham manager Felix Magath has said that he hopes the win over Newcastle United last weekend will give his players the confidence to play with no fear and attack Manchester City on Saturday.

Magath said that it will be important to remain tight in order to limit City's chances, but is confident that if Fulham can shut out Manuel Pellegrini's players then they have the ability to hurt their illustrious opponents.

"If we can stop Manchester City scoring, then I think we can create chances to score ourselves," he said in his pre-match press conference.

"It's my job to help the players and believe in their ability. I'm convinced they are better than they have been before. I hope the last game has given us more confidence. I don't want the team to only defend against Man City, I want us to go forwards."

Fulham are currently bottom of the Premier League, although a win could see them move up to 18th.
