Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva hopes to continue improving after growing more confident in his maiden campaign at the Etihad Stadium.

Bernardo Silva has insisted that there is "even more" to come from him in a Manchester City shirt after settling into life at the club.

The 23-year-old has racked up more appearances for treble-chasing City this season than any other player, featuring 46 times in all competitions.

Silva required time to find his feet in the early weeks following a £43m move from Monaco, but he is now enjoying his football at the Etihad Stadium and says that it has has been "fantastic" playing such an important role.

"When you change clubs, it's always complicated," he told the club's official website. "When I moved from Portugal to Monaco, it was difficult the first months. Now when I moved from Monaco to Manchester, it's difficult as well, you have to adapt to the way the team plays.

"Every team plays in a different way. I am feeling better and better and I hope I can improve even more. I've learned a lot of things with all the staff and the players. It's been fantastic for me."

Portugal international Silva has a combined 13 goals and assist in his 46 outings this term.
