Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace - Walker, Ederson and more

Man City injury, suspension list vs. Palace - Walker, Ederson and more

Manchester City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 25 matches when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

The Citizens bounced back from successive league draws to beat Aston Villa by a 4-1 scoreline on Wednesday night, thanks to a Phil Foden hat-trick and an early strike from Rodri.

Pep Guardiola's men remain third in the table and, at the time of writing, are level on points with second-placed Liverpool, while they are only one point behind leaders Arsenal.

Man City do not have a fully-fit squad at present, and here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Oliver Glasner's side.

Kyle Walker

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: April 9 (vs. Real Madrid)

Kyle Walker has been ruled out of Saturday's trip to Selhurst Park and is facing a race against time to be fit for next Tuesday's Champions League clash with Real Madrid, after Guardiola stated earlier this week that the defender's injury is "quite serious".

Nathan Ake

Status: Out Type of injury: Unspecified Possible return date: Unknown

Nathan Ake is also ruled out of the trip to Palace; the defender missed City's win over Villa after picking up an unspecified injury in the draw with Arsenal last weekend, and it remains to be seen when the defender will be fit to return to first-team action.

Ederson

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: Unknown

Ederson has been sidelined since being forced off with a muscle injury in City's 1-1 draw with Liverpool on March 10, but Guardiola has since revealed that the goalkeeper could feature on Saturday.

John Stones

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: April 6 (vs. Crystal Palace)

After sustaining a groin injury on international duty with England, John Stones has since watched on as an unused substitute in City's last two games and he is expected to be named in the matchday squad once again on Saturday.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester City have no suspended players for this match.
