Manchester City's James Milner targets Champions League trophy

Milner eyes Champions League glory

Manchester City midfielder James Milner believes that he and his teammates need to focus on winning the Champions League next season.

The players and staff celebrated winning their second Premier League title in three seasons yesterday in an open-top bus parade.

As well as the league trophy, Manuel Pellegrini's men showed off the Capital One Cup to a hoard of fans, who lined the streets of Manchester on Monday.

"We have won two trophies this season and I came here to win trophies," the Daily Star quotes Milner as saying. "I want to contribute to the club as much as I can and help us move forward.

"The next thing we need to win is the European Cup. I have been lucky enough since I have been here to win every domestic trophy, so that is the next one."

Meanwhile, Milner has been included in England's 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
