Roberto Mancini: Injuries make Roma "vulnerable"

Roberto Mancini believes that Manchester City can take advantage of the number of injuries that Roma currently have during tonight's Champions League clash.

Roberto Mancini believes that Roma's injury list could make them "vulnerable" when they take on Manchester City in the Champions League this evening.

The Serie A outfit have made the trip to the Etihad Stadium without a handful of senior players, including midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Kevin Strootman.

With that in mind, Mancini has indicated that his former club City should be able to get the better of their Italian counterparts.

"A complete Roma can beat City, but the absences of Daniele De Rossi, Leandro Castan and Davide Astori make them more vulnerable," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma have won just one of their 14 encounters on English soil.
