Bundesliga strugglers Augsburg come from a goal down to draw with Mainz 05, who finish the match with 10 men after losing Shawn Parker to a red card.

Shawn Parker was sent off as Mainz 05 dropped points at Bundesliga strugglers Augsburg this afternoon, drawing their game 1-1.

Adam Szalai put Mainz ahead on 43 minutes, when he fired into the top left corner from 10 yards following a cross from Junior Diaz.

However, the visitors were reduced to 10 men in first-half stoppage time as Parker saw red for a rash challenge on Michael Parkhurst.

Augsburg levelled the scores just before the hour-mark courtesy of Sascha Molders, who headed Marcel de Jong's whipped cross high into the net from close range.
