Half-Time Report: Mainz 05 holding Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are being held to a goalless draw by Mainz 05 after 45 minutes of their Bundesliga clash this evening.

Adrian Ramos had the first chance of the game for the visitors, but, after connecting with Pierre Aubameyang's cross, he placed a header wide of the post.

Milos Jojic then tried his luck from range, but saw his attempt comfortably saved by Loris Karius.

It was the hosts who were next to threaten and Shinji Okazaki was denied a goal when Roman Weidenfeller kept out his close-range effort.

With five minutes of the first half remaining, Ramos saw his strike from inside the box crash against the post as the teams went into the break on level terms.
