Huddersfield Town's William Boyle joins Macclesfield Town on loan

Huddersfield Town's William Boyle joins National League side Macclesfield Town on loan until October 3.

Huddersfield Town defender William Boyle has joined Macclesfield Town on loan until October 3.

The 19-year-old made his debut for the Terriers in a 3-0 win over Reading last season, before being loaned out to Kidderminster, where he made a further three appearances.

He will be coached at the National League club by former Huddersfield favourite Sam Sodje, who is assistant manager at Moss Rose.

Macclesfield begin their campaign with a trip to Torquay on Saturday.
