FA investigating racism claims against Barrow player

FA investigating racism claims at Macclesfield

The Football Association will investigate allegations that Macclesfield Town defender Ryan Jackson was racially abused by a Barrow player after their FA Cup second round replay on Saturday.

The FA are already pursuing claims that the Silkmen's skipper Nat Brown was racially abused by Barrow fans during the side's initial FA Cup meeting 12 days ago.

No complaint has yet been made to the police over the latest allegations.

Macclesfield won the match 4-1 to set up a third-round meeting with Championship leaders Cardiff City.
