Lyon survive Coupe de France scare against fourth-tier Yzeure

Four goals came in the final 15 minutes as Lyon fought from behind to beat fourth-tier side AS Yzeure and progress to the last 16 of the Coupe de France this evening.

After a scoreless first 75 minutes, home side Yzeure took the lead through Elias M'Baye and it looked like an upset might be on the cards.

Their hopes would be short-lived, though, as Jimmy Briand equalised almost straight away before further strikes from Yoann Gourcuff and Steed Malbranque put the result beyond doubt.

The next round takes place on Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 12.
