Scotland travelled to Luxembourg for their first game since Craig Levein was sacked as manager.
Under-21 coach Billy Stark took control, but was without key players Steven Fletcher, Phil Bardsley, Charlie Adam, Barry Bannan, James Morrison, Matt Phillips and Shaun Maloney.
Jordan Rhodes scored two to help his country to their first win in four games, although the game was a fairly drab encounter.
You can read how the action unfolded below.
FULL TIMELuxembourg 1-2 Scotland
90 minsThere's going to be two minutes of time added on.
90 minsJordan Rhodes makes way for Murray Davidson
87 minsPeters's delivery is cleared by Hanley.
86 minsFreekick for Luxembourg. Peters stands over it.
85 minsSHOT! Bensi has a strike but Gilks gets down well to save.
84 minsGOAL DISALLOWED! Rhodes nods home what he thinks is his equaliser but the linesman chalks it off.
83 minsTurpel flashes the ball across goal but no one is there to profit! That could have so nearly been the equaliser!
81 minsHe is... but he can't conjure up another beauty and hits the wall.
81 minsFreekick for Luxembourg in a similar position from which they scored. Gerson will be the prime candidate, I'm sure.
79 minsThe ball falls to Giffiths outside the area but his volley is wild.
78 minsBlaise concedes a corner. Chance for Scotland to wrap this game up.
LUXEMBOURG SUBSTITUTION:Charles Leweck comes off and Tom Laterza makes his way onto the field
74 minsThe Scotland has to chase back after Gilks puts them in danger with a poor clearance. It doesn't cost them a goal, but that was a poor kick.
72 minsSAVE! Bensi has a free header from Mutsch's cross but Gilks palms behind for a corner.
71 minsSHOT! Miller latches onto Naismith's knockdown but Joubert saves with his legs.
LUXEMBOURG SUBSTITUTION:David Turpel comes on for Gilles Bettmer
SCOTLAND SUBSTITUTION:Leigh Griffiths replaces Andrew Shinnie
70 minsThere's a break in the game as Bettmer is down and receiving some treatment. We can all catch out breath.
67 minsIf you are wondering about the lack of posts, it's not because we're having trouble on the site. It's because nothing is happening.
LUXEMBOURG SUBSTITUTION:Stefano Bensi comes on for Maurice Deville
62 minsSHOT! Mutsch has a dip from long range but it misses the target by a great margin.
60 minsScotland still lead at the hour mark. The atmosphere is completely flat in the Josy-Barthel, which is hardly surprising for a midweek friendly.
54 minsDixon rifles the ball at the wall.
54 minsNaismith wins a freekick for Scotland from just over 20 yards out.
54 minsAlmost immediately, Da Mota has limped off the pitch clutching his ankle.
LUXEMBOURG SUBSTITUTION:Mathias Janisch makes way for Daniel da Mota
50 minsJoubert nearly gifts Scotland a chance with some sloppy play. He was far too casual as he tried to clear his lines, but Naismith was offside when Rhodes tried to play him in and the flag went up.
46 minsIt was a beautifully taken set piece that curled away from Gilks's fingertips and into the top corner.
46 minsGOAL! SUPERB FREEKICK FROM GERSON!
46 minsStraight away Kelly is penalised for a foul on Mutsch. Luxembourg have a freekick 25 yards out.
SCOTLAND SUBSTITUTION:Liam Kelly replaces Charlie Mulgrew

8.11pmElsewhere, it's currently 2-1 to England against Sweden. You can follow that game by clicking here
8.03pmIt's been too easy for Scotland so far. They lead 2-0 at the break, but in truth the standard is not great.
HALF TIMELuxembourg 0-2 Scotland
43 minaCHANCE! And it's Luxembourg's first real opportunity. The cross came in from the right and Mutsch had sight at goal from 18 yards out. However, his shot is straight at Gilks. He should have done better.
37 minsSHOT! Bettner has a go from 25 yards out but it's a daisy cutter and Gilks can throw his cap on it.
33 minsScotland are looking for a third. Miller and Rhodes have the ball at their feet in the box but Luxembourg shirts crowd the area. They eventually clear the danger.
30 minsNearly a fantastic goal from Scotland! Miller linked up nicely with Rhodes to work an opening but the keeper saved well. The linesman also had his flag up, but that's the first football that's been played. It's woken me up slightly.
23 minsGreat work by Shinnie. He turned his marker in the box and crossed for Naismith. The Everton man couldn't get his effort on target but Rhodes arrives late and smashes in the rebound.
23 minsGOAL! RHODES SCORES AGAIN!
22 minsNow it's Miller's turn to shoot woefully over. They should show this game to insomniacs.
21 minsLeweck shoots high and wide.
20 minsMulgrew pumps the ball into the box but Joubert picks it out of the air.
18 minsSHOT! Mutsch finds a yard of space on the edge of the area but his shot on the turn goes well wide of the target.
16 minsCHANCE! Miller plays through Rhodes but Joubert rushes out and dives at his feet, smothering the ball.
15 minaSchnell sends a cross into the box and Mutsch gets his head on it, but it's a feeble effort. Gilks saves comfortably.
14 minsThe goal has been pretty much the only real action so far. It's not been the best game.
10 minsIt was a brilliant ball from the left by Dixon and Rhodes made a dart in front of his marker, but still got lucky with his finish. The ball rebounded off the keeper and back onto him before going into the net.
10 minsGOAL! RHODES OPENS THE SCORING!
8 minutesCHANCE! Rhodes nearly capitalises on an error from Mutsch but shoots wide. The defender mistimed his first touch and allowed Blackburn man a clear run at goal.
5 minsScotland have had all of the ball in the opening five minutes, but the game is being played at a pedestrian pace.
