Tottenham Hotspur 'contact Dusan Vlahovic's agent to discuss move'

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made contact with the agent of Dusan Vlahovic to discuss a possible move for the Fiorentina striker during this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for La Viola, scoring 21 times in 37 Serie A appearances, and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in his services.

Fiorentina have been working to extend the Serbian's contract, but his current deal is due to expire in June 2023, which has placed the Italian outfit in a difficult position.

Juventus and Liverpool have both been linked with the forward, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Spurs have 'been talking' to the player's agent Darko Ristic over a potential switch to North London.

The report claims that Nuno Espirito Santo's side are prepared to 'spend important figures' on Vlahovic, who has managed 29 goals in 84 appearances for his current team in all competitions.

Tottenham could be in the market for a Harry Kane replacement this summer, as Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed his team's interest in the England captain on Friday.
