Suarez "not thinking" about future

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he is "not thinking" about his club future while on duty with Uruguay at the Confederations Cup.

The 26-year-old has been open about his desire to leave Anfield due to the treatment that he has received by the press since he arrived in England in 2011.

"Here, I come to play for Uruguay and [am] not thinking what I can do to benefit a transfer," ESPN quotes Suarez as saying. "My only goal is to win the cup."

The frontman, who was banned for 10 games at the end of the season for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, also claimed that there are no new developments with regards to a transfer.

The former Ajax forward has spoken of his ambition to play for Real Madrid in the future.
