Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers confirms that Luis Suarez will meet up with the squad's pre-season tour later today.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that wantaway striker Luis Suarez will join their pre-season tour today.

The Reds beat an Indonesia XI yesterday and will fly to Australia later, where they will be met by Suarez.

"He's on the plan and we will see him in Melbourne," Rodgers told reporters.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him, he's a player I've always supported. I understand the situation but the bottom line is, he is employed by the club.

"The money goes into his back at the end of every month, so he should be here. If he's not, which I doubt, there will be a problem."
