Report: Liverpool want Fabio Sturgeon

A report claims that Liverpool want to sign Belenenses midfielder Fabio Sturgeon.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Belenenses midfielder Fabio Sturgeon.

The 20-year-old, who has made five appearances for Portugal's Under-20 side, is believed to have attracted the attention of a number of European clubs over the last 12 months.

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool lead the race for the Portuguese and are preparing to make their move in the January transfer window.

Sturgeon is currently eligible to represent England at international level through is father.
